We bring the backend. You bring the frontend.

Commerce infrastructure for stores that bring their own frontend.

litecommerce is the multi-tenant commerce backend for catalog, inventory, orders, pricing, returns, media, and audit — delivered through clean REST APIs your frontend can consume from any stack.

Shipped today

Backend primitives, not another storefront cage.

Every capability below runs in production on staging and the two reference storefronts.

Multi-Tenant by Design

Supabase Auth for staff, Owner/Admin/Staff memberships, permission presets, and org switching for operators who work across brands.

Catalog You Can Operate

Products, variants, collections, and CMS pages with create, edit, archive, and restore — all backed by real API writes, not placeholder alerts.

Inventory That Tells the Truth

On-hand, reserved, and available stock per variant. Auto-reserves on order, releases on cancel, decrements on fulfillment — with low-stock alerts and back-in-stock notify-me capture.

Orders + Fulfillment

Order statuses, line items, notes, and a customer activity timeline. A fulfillment status flow and a filterable orders list — real order management, not a stub.

Pricing Rules That Convert

Coupon codes, automatic cart discounts, scheduled sale windows, product bundles, and compare-at pricing — applied at the storefront cart through the API.

Returns + Shipping

Customer return requests with a merchant approval state machine and Stripe refunds on completion. Configurable shipping zones and rates with storefront rate preview.

Catalog Media Without the Glue Code

Signed upload URLs, item and collection images, alt text, and focal point — tenant-scoped and ready for any frontend stack.

Audit Log for the Things That Matter

Admin writes, auth events, API-key changes, and platform support access — persisted, queryable, and visible in admin.

Tenant Settings + Onboarding

Business profile, configuration foundation, and a setup checklist that platform staff can see too.

How it works

01

Sign in to merchant admin with Supabase Auth and tenant memberships

02

Upload products, variants, media, collections, and CMS pages

03

Configure inventory thresholds and tenant settings

04

Connect any frontend to the REST API — or fork one of the reference storefronts

On the roadmap

The rest of the commerce stack, in flight.

These are not live yet. We're building them in the open against the same multi-tenant foundation that ships today.

Stripe Tax

In active development

Automatic tax calculation at checkout, layered on the shipping zones and rates that ship today.

Bookings

Coming soon

Services, availability, calendar holds, deposits, and reschedule/cancel policies.

Subscriptions

Coming soon

Stripe Billing plans, dunning, upgrades/downgrades, and entitlement APIs.

Integrations + automation

Coming soon

ShipStation order sync, signed outbound webhooks, and a central event system driving lifecycle automations.

Live on litecommerce

Two storefronts, two stacks, one backend.

These are real production tenants running on the API today. Same backend, completely different presentation layer — which is the whole point of BYO frontend.
